I am the universe, and the universe is me.
I am the universe the human eye can't see. I see the beginning, I see the end. With all the rest, to the end I attend On Earth I see a table, a table that's long. he is the universe that goes on and on. I also see objects all night and day. they are the universe so far far away. I see cracks all around not covered with tape. they are the universe where light can't escape. I am the dust that covers all kind. from beginning to end, I am the dust of time.

It is summer of 2180 in east Montana. A man is looking out his bedroom window. He sees a blinded society of technology starring back at him, as if it were a barren world of nothingness. The world had found a way to produce oxygen without the use of nature what so ever. However in the midst of all technology, one tree remained. It remained just outside the bedroom window, discrete to the modern eye.
The man goes by the name of Filius Annorum, or Fili Annorum. He was just over 16 years old, with his birthday being a few weeks earlier. His short blonde hair was in a small quiff, and his eyes were a glowing, bright brown with a hint of green near the pupils. He is what you would call an old folk. He knows very little of the technology of the society he lives in, and is the only one who even has knowledge of fall or spring. Because of the only hint nature just outside his bedroom window, he is the only one who has somewhat experienced fall and spring while the rest of the world has never even cared to notice it. 4'th We came back home from the grocery store still needing one more ingredient for our popcorn for St Patrick's Day. Dairy queen was on my mind at the time, but I still felt sick at the thought of eating Dairy queen for the fourth time in a row. Then I saw the parmesan garlic popcorn that we got at the store, and I was instantaneously filled with a vigor of inspiration. I sprinted outside to where mom was, and begged her to let us go to a little Italian place called Baris. "Italian food?" she asked. "yes." I said "the popcorn we got made me want to go." Then we went to the car, and made our way.
Now let me tell you a bit about Baris. It is my favorite restaurant in the entire universe. first of all it has the most amazing garlic bread ever. Second of all they don't have the music blaring in the background. Third of all it has the most amazing acoustics ever. almost as good as the cave that is the FM 9 front office area. After we ate, there was a song in my head that I really wanted to hear in the entryway. I, so sweetly and convincingly, begged Mom once again if I could sing it. "Yes." she said and chuckled. I started to sing and the manager looked at me and smiled. I sung "In Noctum from Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, and In Dreams and Frodo's Lament for Gandalf both from JRR TOLKIEN'S Lord of the Rings. Then Mom came and got me and we went to the car. I asked mom if anyone had heard me. "yes." she said. "In fact, the manager actually came over and told me that she wanted you to come back sometime, so that she could record it and put it on their website." I could not believe it. I had gotten a gig at Baris. P.S. I might actually be performing this on Saturday march 24'th. AKA tomorrow! Muhammad Ali. A boxer was he,
who said, "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee." He let people know about what he did. Through technology, hes legacy flowed from kid to kid. His catch phrase he wrote about what he loved. His fame rising, he flied like a dove. His catch phrase soared like a bird in the air. Furthermore, in his heart, the adrenalin was there. Newspapers, TV, and broadcasts galore. In interviews, he talked boxing and more. Tournaments he played and won. However his love for boxing was never done. Doing what he loved, he never gave up. Doing so he won many cups. He died like Tolkien, but just passed seventy three. He died, "floating like a butterfly, and stinging like a bee." |
